Supply Line 2010 is two months away and we're gearing up for the best show ever. Supply Line 2010, in conjunction with the New England Sanitary Supply Association, provides the tools you need to grow in today's challenging economy.  Plan to attend the CIMS Certification program or the Golf Outing on Tuesday, May 4. And all members are invited to the President's Reception that evening at the Taj Mahal. Cleaning professionals can now attend the show on Wednesday, May 5 from 12Noon-5pm and we're offering an educational seminar just for you, "How to Control Cleaning Costs."

My thanks to our show sponsors: Legacy Converting, Hoover, The Bullen Companies, United Electric and Spray Nine Corporation.  With these sponsors' support, we are able to offer "Breakfast with Exhibitors," Luncheon and Internet Cafés, and free vacuums to the first 20 cleaning attendees who also attend the May 5 seminar! Exhibitors will have show specials for big savings on new and current products plus hourly giveaways.

So come on down to Atlantic City to the Taj Mahal May 5 and 6 and attend the most efficient and economical jan-san event this year...Supply Line 2010. Click here for your registration brochure or visit www.njssa.net.

Assembly Bill #4087 - Green Cleaning Policy in NJ Schools.

The Legislative Outreach Committee, with the assistance of Insight Consulting, re-introduced the bill which is sponsored by NJ State Assemblyman Reed Gusciora of Trenton. The committee is looking for a State Senate sponsor as well.  Discussion on the bill will occur in March.

NJSSA Board Letter to Governor Christie

NJSSA Board of Trustees sent a letter to Governor Christie advising him about unfair state purchasing policies of a vast array of supplies without soliciting competitive bids as otherwise required by the Local Public Contracts Law. The letter emphasized the fact the NJ municipalities and agencies are, in some instances, not getting the best prices and costing the state money.  Governor Christie's Economic Impact Team has asked for feedback on ways the state can save money.
