Supply Line 2010 is open to distributors only on Wednesday, May 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and to all cleaning professionals as well as distributors from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2010. Exhibiting costs are:

10’ x 10’ $1,235.00, 10’ x 20’ $2,295.00, 10’ x 30’ $3,395.00

Prices include booth space rental, electronic lead retrieval capabilities, two-year membership in NJSSA, back and side rail drapes, company booth sign, carpeting, and two badges for booth personnel. Additional personnel badges are $25.00 each.

Wholesalers whose business is 90% or more for re-distribution will be permitted to purchase booths, provided only promotional materials (not product) are displayed. Wholesalers must have a unified booth presentation, and all literature must be displayed under the banner of the exhibiting company only. Distributors are not permitted to exhibit at the show.

We invite you to exhibit in 2010. Booth assignments are on a first come, first serve basis, so we encourage you to reserve early.

Thank you for attending and exhibiting at the 2010 Supply Line biennial trade show.  Over 1,300 jan-san industry members attended the two day event at the Taj Mahal Etess Arena on May 5 and 6 in Atlantic City.

NJSSA Golf Outing
 

68 golfers teed off at Harbor Pines Golf Club on May 4. 1st Place Low Gross winners were Greg Baumgardner (Penn Jersey Paper), Larry Maggie (City Supply), Fran McNamee (Waterbury), and Eric Sorlie (Waterbury).  2nd Place went to the team of Bill Violand (Clean Max/Tacony) and Doug Anderson, Jim Fuchs, Adam Morlott all of Sempermed USA.

Greg Baumgardner also won the Straightest Drive; Mike Hornish (ITW Dymon) was the Longest Drive winner, and John Castaldo (SAMCO) took home the Closest to the Pin prize.

ISSA ICE Certification 
 
ISSA ICE Certification Seminar
on May 4 was attended by 45 industry members.  Dave Frank of the American Institute of Cleaning Sciences conducted the session and attendees took the certification exam at the end of the program. 43 participants received their ICE certifications!
 

Frank also conducted a seminar for cleaning contractors/distributors on May 5 entitled "How to Reduce Cleaning Costs." 20 lucky cleaning professionals who attended the seminar and the show won new vacuum cleaner systems from show sponsor Hoover/TTI. 

 

Seminar attendee, Jane Parker, Ed. D., R.E.H., Assistant Environmental Services Manager of UMDNJ provided this feedback: "The Wednesday morning seminar at Supply Line 2010 on cost savings for environmental services was excellent. Without a doubt it is one of the finest education programs I have ever attended at any association/organization/company event."

NJSSA President's Reception & Membership Meeting

 

NJSSA President Peter Davidson (Leading Edge Associates) welcomed exhibitors and members to the President's Reception held on May 4 in the Taj Mahal. Davidson reported on the state of the association and presented board service plaques to 2006-2008 President Fred Schimanski (Cleansmart/Select Wholesalers) and 2007-2009 Treasurer Patrick Amato (Premier Marketing).

2010 Bob Stader Award
 
Barbara Casse-Bender, President of BCB Janitorial in Hackensack, NJ, was selected by the NJSSA Board of Trustees to receive the 4th NJSSA Bob Stader Lifetime Achievement Award. She was presented with this prestigious award at the President's Reception, May 4th in The Taj Mahal Hotel Casino & Spa during NJSSA's Biennial Supply Line trade show in Atlantic City, NJ.
 
Casse-Bender served as Executive Director of the New Jersey Sanitary Supply Association and was responsible for reinvigorating the Supply Line trade show in the 1990s. She was one of the original creators of the Association's Operation Clean Sweep program of community service and helped the association fund two ISSA Scholarships to worthy New Jersey area students. She also served on the Board of Directors of the International Sanitary Supply Association, serving as a District Director from 1999-2001 and as Secretary of the ISSA Board from 2003-2005. 
 
Casse-Bender could not attend the event and her son Rich Casse (shown in photo below, left) accepted the award for her. "My mother wanted me to thank you all for this prestigious honor and to say she wished she could be here in person to once again be a part of the Supply Line show," stated Casse. The award was presented by Ann Stader in memory of Bob Stader, a founding member of NJSSA.
