FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

April 29, 2009. With the outbreak of swine flu moving rapidly through the tri-state area, members of the New Jersey Sanitary Supply Association (NJSSA) are available to assist parents, schools, institutional facilities, maintenance personnel, and commercial cleaning contractors with information and cleaning solutions to ensure public areas are clean and germ free.

“Members of the NJSSA are concerned that people take the proper precautions to safeguard against infection,” stated Peter Davidson, president of the NJSSA. “We have the information and expertise to help companies, schools, churches, and parents in their homes maintain a healthy and safe environment against this flu virus,” added Davidson.

In addition to the personal guidelines the Centers for Disease Control advocate, it is important to utilize the proper cleaning products and methods to control any spread of the virus and limit the likelihood of a pandemic. NJSSA members are manufacturers, distributors and cleaning professionals in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania who can train maintenance personnel on the best methods to clean office buildings, schools, hospitals, government buildings, and homes and are available to offer their expertise in controlling the spread of the virus.

For additional information contact NJSSA headquarters at 973-283-1400 or visit www.njssa.net for a directory of NJSSA members. NJSSA is a not-for-profit trade association dedicated to the advancement and professionalism of its members in the janitorial and sanitary supply industry.

NJSSA is also an affiliate organization of the International Sanitary Supply Association.
